The Island Paradise Club began operations in November 1997. Founding partners, Mr. Karl Tomlinson and Mr. Tennyson Williams shared a common vision: An establishment where people of all cultures would come together in a positive Caribbean-centric atmosphere and enjoy music from around the world.The vision has continued successfully after longtime friend, Mr. Roger Lowe, notably known as DJ Electro, assumed Ownership from Mr. Tomlinson & Mr. Williams in December of 2005.
The Island Paradise Club is located in Alameda's West End, and is the Bay Area's expressway to experiencing rich and diverse Cultures, filled with the spirit of the Caribbean, African Influence and Latin American rhythms. The Island Paradise Club provides a blend of traditions in musical and social entertainment. Bubbling with an electric blend of world music and entertainment, positive and excellent service, this multi-cultural venue appeals to the mature sense of Sophistication and the exotic.
